Relationships with Sociopaths
« on: October 24, 2011, 07:45:49 PM »

It took me several months to realize the man I met online was really a sociopath. He was so clever, said the right things, an outstanding man in his community, even in the rotary club, attended church. Now I am trying to forgive my stupidity and move on. It has not been an easy process.  This is the first time I have posted on a forum in my life. Saw this quote from an unknown source and with trepidation decided it was time. Perhaps it will enable me to heal and help others as well.

"Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself."
